The Offensive Line was very underwhelming

A lot of hope was put into this offensive line this spring and it did not deliver.

The line did not get much push in run blocking, and were actually getting beat by the back ups. On the goal line it was not much better either as Scarlett had to rely on his legs to get in the end zone.

However, they were pretty good in pass protection. As said before, Franks looked very comfortable in the pocket, and it had a lot to do with the clean pockets he had.

What I still would like to see with the offensive line is getting angrier when they play.

They have the size to be a dominant front. Over the past year they seemed to improve with technique, but just haven’t played angry. It is coach Davis’s goal to make this team play angry.

And while they played better later in the game, it is clear he still has work to do.
