Florida Gators: What we learned from the Spring Game
The defensive line was better than expected
Ok, yes they did go against the back up offensive line, but there is no need to take away from what they did.
Edge rushers like Zuniga and Jefferson both had themselves a good game, along with freshman Kyree Campbell at defensive tackle.
The rest of the defensive line was decent but not outstanding. Neither team got pushed around in the trenches and did not allow a lot of runners get to the second level.
Believe it or not this could be a good sign for Florida. The expectations for the defense has been as low as it ever has since they became a a powerhouse program.
While this doesn’t just end the worries at the potential problems they could face during the season, it can somewhat ease the minds of the fans knowing that they’re here to play.
