Kentucky, like a lot of SEC teams, has been in search to find that star quarterback. And also like most SEC teams, there have been disappointments.

First Towels, then Barker, and now they’re riding on Stephen Johnson to be the answer. Johnson replaced Barker after the Florida game, and brought a new dimension to the position being a dual-threat quarterback.

But the passing game did not improve with Johnson taking over.

He had his moments, but for the most part there is plenty of room to grow for Johnson in the passing game. With the great ability to run the ball, this team can really keep you on your toes, if they can improve in that area.

That will also benefit the defense as they might not be on the field as long. And maybe the offense puts a few extra points on the board and eases the defense’s minds.
