The FPI projects Mississippi State to go 6-6 in 2017, with conference wins over Kentucky and Mississippi State.

And among the six projected losses, the Bulldogs are given less than a 25 percent chance to beat LSU (Sept. 16), @ Georgia (Sept. 23), @ Auburn (Sept. 30), and Alabama (Nov. 11).
