The FPI projects South Carolina to go 5-7 this season, with Vanderbilt and Kentucky being their only conference victories.

The Gamecocks are the only team in the SEC projected to lose two non-conference games against North Carolina State (Sept. 2) and Clemson (Nov. 25).
