The SEC football coaching landscape is not as impressive as it once has been. And a few coaches will enter the 2017 season on the proverbial Hot Seat.

It seems that half the SEC coaches are in their first or second season, and the other half are one down year away from getting the axe.

Every coach in the SEC is not on the hot seat, but some are. But it’s not just about hot and cold. There are varying degrees of hot and cold, so we decided to break down each coaches hot seat from 1-10 with 1 being the coolest and 10 being the hottest.
