Ed Orgeron: 6

Even though LSU went 6-2 under Orgeron, Les Miles was fired after winning 77 percent (114-34) of his games in his 12 years in Baton Rouge.

Orgeron doesn’t have the best track record as a head coach. He went 10-25 in his three seasons at Ole Miss, and his only other experience as a head coach was as an interim coach at USC, which he also went 6-2.

At LSU he was given the keys to a team that can win immediately, and if he doesn’t win immediately, his seat could heat up quickly.
