The Bulldogs might have the most star-studded backfield with Nick Chubb and Sony Michel both returning for their senior seasons.

Chubb was seventh in the SEC with 1,130 rushing yards, but averaged just 5.0 yards per carry, a step down from his 7.4 yards per carry as a freshman and sophomore.

After missing the first two games of 2016, Michel rushed for 840 yards last season. He rushed for 1,161 yards and 8 touchdowns in 2015 after Chubb missed the final seven games of 2015.

The Dawgs also have rising-sophomore Brian Herrien and incoming freshman D’Andre Swift, who was the no. 3 running back in the nation coming out of high school.
