Florida: Sept. 2 vs. Michigan (Arlington)

The last time Florida left the Sunshine State for a non-conference matchup was 26 years ago at Syracuse. The Gators lost that matchup, but this year they’ll open the season in the 2017 AdvoCare Classic at “Jerry World” in Arlington, Tex.

Michigan went 10-3 last season, and their three losses came by a total of five points. They had one of the best defenses in college football in 2016, and Jim Harbaugh has elevated this program to another level after just two seasons.

These two programs have met three times in school history, all of which were in bowl games. Jan. 1, 2016 was the last time these two teams met, and the Wolverines gave the Gators a 41-7 shellacking in the Outback Bowl.

Honorable Mention: Nov. 25 vs. Florida State (10-3, 5-3 in ACC). Beat Florida 31-13 in 2016.
