Vanderbilt: Sept. 16 vs. Kansas State

Kansas State went 9-4 in 2016. They finished last season by winning six of their final seven games, including a 33-28 win over Texas A&M. The Wildcats return their starting quarterback Jesse Ertz. While he only threw nine touchdowns to four interceptions last season, Ertz also led the Wildcats with 1,012 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns.

The Wildcats are becoming a trendy pick to make some noise in the Big 12 this season. SI.com ranked Kansas State no. 19 in their post-spring power rankings.

The only time these two teams have ever met was 1984. Vanderbilt won 26-14.
