Missouri

Jordan Clarkson, Keyon Dooling, DeMarre Carroll

DeMarre Carroll and Jordan Clarkson are the only two active Tigers in the NBA. This team might be better if we could include incoming freshman Michael Porter Jr., who many people think will be the no. 1 pick in next year’s NBA Draft.

Clarkson has been in the league for there years now, scoring in double figures in each of them. And  as a full-time starter in 2016, he averages 15.5 points per game. And at 6’5, he’s a solid compliment to Keyon Dooling.

Dooling, like Clarkson, is sort of a combo-guard. So while neither of these guys is a true point guard, they both are good ball-handlers and passers. Now 37-years old, Dooling played 13 seasons in the NBA before retiring in 2013. His best season came in 2009 with the New Jersey Nets where he averaged 9.7 points and 3.5 assists while starting 18 of the 77 games he played.

Carroll just finished his eighth season in the NBA. He’s a defensive stopper that can knock down open shots. He broke out with the Atlanta Hawks a few years ago, and for the last four seasons he’s averaged 10.9 points and 1.4 steals. At 6’8, he’d be forced to play down low, so what they would lack and size, they make up for in athleticism.
