Patrick Beverley, Joe Johnson, Bobby Portis

Patrick Beverley is the epitome of a guard that will get all up in his man defensively. He’s averaged 9.3 points and 1.3 steals in his five-year career. In 2014, he was named to second-team NBA All-Defense, and this year he was named first-team All-Defense.

Joe Johnson is a seven-time all-star and provides the scoring that every big three needs. At 36-years old, he’s not the athlete he once was, but this guy averaged 20+ points per game for four straight seasons with the Atlanta Hawks, including 25.0 back in 2007.

Bobby Portis has yet to make a significant contribution in the NBA, averaging 6.9 points in his two years with the Chicago Bulls. But he’s only two years removed from being SEC Player of the Year for the Razorbacks when he averaged 17.5 points and 8.9 rebounds. He’s also 21-years old, and he provides the length and the athleticism that this team needs.
