6. LSU at Tennessee (Nov. 18)

LSU and Tennessee is a game that has been a victim of conference realignment. These are two of the great traditions of SEC football, but because of the 14-team conference, and an 8-game conference schedule, these teams rarely plan anymore.

These teams have played in two different SEC title games, but the last time the Tigers travelled to Knoxville was 2011. Not only is it one of the primetime East/West matchups of the season, but it also takes place on Nov. 18, the second-to-last week of the regular season.

With a lot of teams playing a virtual “bye week” by playing cupcakes and FCS opponents the week before their season finale, this year eight teams will be playing a conference opponent, which is great for everybody.

LSU is the clear favorite as of right now, but this game is a long way away. By the time these two teams play, they’ll have 10 games under their belts. With a  team like Tennessee, with so many question marks, you can guarantee they’ll have some of those questions answered by Nov. 18. And don’t underestimate the challenge of playing inside Neyland Stadium
