4. LSU at Florida (Oct. 7)

The LSU and Florida game last season was a classic SEC football game. It was a defensive battle and the Gators won it with a last second goal line stand. The game was played in Baton Rouge instead of Gainesville because of Hurricane Matthew, so this will be an additional home game for the Gators in 2017.

This series has become one of the best rivalries in the SEC, which is why it would’ve been such a travesty if they somehow didn’t reschedule last year’s contest. It’s also been one of the most competitive rivalries. LSU holds the advantage 6-5 in the last 11 games, while the Gators have actually outscored the Tigers 242-234 in those games.

Florida has won 12 of their last 13 games at home, but that’s going to be put to the test this season. Florida plays Tennessee, LSU, Texas A&M, and Florida State in The Swamp this season. The Seminoles are the one loss during those last 13 home games.

With a lot of buzz about the quarterback play in the SEC this season, the Gators and Tigers might have two of the biggest question marks at the quarterback position. By the time these two teams face in week six, they should have some things figured out. Both of these teams could easily come into this game at 5-0.
