Texas A&M

7-5 (4-4)

Texas A&M stated 5-0 for the third straight season in 2016, and actually got up to 6-0 last season. But for the third straight season, the Aggies collapsed down the stretch and finished 8-5.

After beating UCLA in overtime in the season opener last year, Texas A&M travels to Pasadena, Calif. to open this season. UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen is now a junior, and I think the Bruins get the best of the Aggies this season.

Texas A&M could easily start 3-4 this season, and if they do, Kevin Sumlin’s hot seat will be hotter than it’s ever been. While I believe they’ll finish 4-1 down the stretch, which is the opposite of what the Aggies usually do.

It will be interesting to see if a strong finish down the stretch will be enough for Sumlin to keep his job.
