It was the first weekend of the college football season, and as always, college football delivered with some great games and great moments. There was a lot of SEC football action to take in this past weekend, and a lot of time to do it.

There was an SEC football team in action on Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, and every team but Florida and Texas A&M walked away with a victory. Often times were not able to have that many takeaways from the first weekend of the college football season, but several teams scheduled Week 1 challenges.

There were still a few SEC football teams that scheduled cupcakes, and while those teams took care of business, there’s not much you can learn about teams in those games. Overall, the SEC went 12-2 over the weekend, and not to toot my own horn, but I did successfully predict the outcome of every SEC football game this weekend, so Toot! Toot!

Here’s what we learned from Week 1 of the SEC football season.
