SEC Football: What we learned in Week 3

Three weeks of the SEC football season are in the books, and each week has taught us more than the previous one.

Several SEC football teams were still playing warm-up games last weekend, but a few have officially begun conference play. Mississippi State made the biggest statement of the weekend with their 37-7 win over LSU. Kentucky hushed some of the South Carolina talk with their fourth consecutive win over the Gamecocks.

Meanwhile in Gainesville, Florida and Tennessee followed up one of the most unwatchable three quarters in SEC football history with one of the greatest endings in conference history.

Next week, 10 of the 14 SEC football teams will be playing conference games, including seven teams that will be playing their first conference game of the season. So here’s what we learned from Week 3 of the SEC football season.
