The Rest of the SEC Football Field

Texas A&M Aggies (-3) vs. Arkansas Razorbacks
12:00 pm – AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Tx.

The Southwest Classic pits two former Southwestern Conference foes against each other at JerryWorld. That’s probably the best thing you can say abou this one.

Both the 2-1 Aggies and the 1-1 Hogs are looking for some identity this season. Texas A&M hasn’t shown they can stop anyone defensively, and nearly blew the whole game against Louisiana last week.

Arkansas has had only one real test, a humiliating 28-7 loss to TCU. The rest of this season is likely to be Bret Bielema coaching for the job in Nebraska.

Expect a lot of points, and some special teams excitement. I may regret this but, take the Hogs to upset TAMU, and turn Kevin Sumlin‘s seat from hot to “You’re fired”.

Louisiana Tech Bulldogs at South Carolina Gamecocks (-10.5)
3:30 pm – Williams-Brice Stadium, Columbia, SC.

The Gamecocks lost a game they probably should have won last week against Kentucky. That will make Will Muschamp angry.

You don’t want to face angry Will Muschamp.

Yardbirds cover the 10.5 and probably another 10.5
