This matchup is absolutely the game of the week in the SEC and could have some serious ramifications on how things end up in both the East and West divisions this season.

Both teams are Bulldogs.
Both teams are fielding young starting quarterbacks who played high school in Georgia.
Both teams are ranked in the Top 25.
Both teams come in undefeated.
Both teams have a win over a quality opponent (UGA over ND, MSU over LSU).
Both teams are averaging over 30 points per game, and giving up less than 15 points per game.
The edge in quarterbacks would have to go to Mississippi State, with Nick Fitzgerald finally making fans look past Dak Prescott.
The edge in defense would probably go to Georgia, who absolutely throttled Notre Dame quarterback Brandon Wimbush, a player not unlike Fitzgerald.
This will be the first game of some real significance Kirby Smart has coached at Georgia. Dan Mullen, on the other hand, has been in a few.
