Ranked SEC Football Games

No. 10 Auburn Tigers (-7) at LSU Tigers
3:30 pm – Tiger Stadium, Baton Rouge, La.

Auburn’s once-sputtering offense has been hitting on all cylinders for the past three weeks, averaging 48 points per game…

Against probably the worst three defenses in the SEC

LSU may not be the team many figured them to be in the preseason, but defensively they are not Ole Miss, Mississippi State or Missouri. Coach Orgeron’s guys are rallying behind him (the way his players almost always do) and will finish this season with some big wins.

Will Auburn be one of those wins? Perhaps, but at least look for LSU to keep the game within a field goal.

Arkansas Razorbacks at No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide (-31.5)
7:15 pm – Bryant-Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa, Al.

Last week, Nick Saban blamed the media and our “rat poison” of accolades for his team winning but not scoring triple-digits against Texas A&M. How dare we throw some positive reinforcement at Alabama.

Tide, you stink! How could you let the Aggies keep the game within 8 points and ruin the spread? You should be ashamed of yourselves. You bunch of pantywaists.

(That better, coach?)

Arkansas is reeling. Bret Bielema is our last hot seat candidate this week. He may yet survive another week after losing to Alabama, but don’t count on it.

Saban will have this team fired up and ready to stomp mudholes. It’s going to be ugly. Alabama covers and Arkansas boosters begin making cash transfers for a buyout fund.
