SEC football is loaded with some trap games this week, as teams begin to gear up for big rivalries in the coming weeks.

The SEC football schedule is headed towards some of the biggest rivalries in the country during the coming weeks, but that leaves this week open to some dangerous traps for top teams.

This week is an open date for the Georgia Bulldogs and Florida Gators, who are both preparing for the Cocktail Party in Jacksonville next week, and for the Vanderbilt Commodores, South Carolina Gamecocks, and Texas A&M Aggies.

Last week my SEC football picks were 5-2 ATS, making my record for the season a very respectable 40-17 according to odds on SportsBookReview.com

SEC Football Dog of the Week

This is a tough week to pick any underdogs, and I may yet regret picking this one.

No. 21 Auburn Tigers (-15.5) at Arkansas Razorbacks
7:30 pm – Razorback Stadium, Fayetteville, Ar.

I swore to myself I’d never do this again, but I’m going to trust in the Hogs. It’s a night game in Fayetteville, where the Razorbacks are 2-4 in the last three seasons under Bret Bielema, but that doesn’t mean they won’t keep it close.

Auburn showed just how vulnerable they are last week against LSU, and traveling once again, they’ll have some struggles. The Tigers will post a carbon copy of last week’s game, pulling away early and then letting the Razorbacks back in the game. Only this time, Auburn should leave with a win.
