Kirby Smart

Georgia’s second-year head coach Kirby Smart is no stranger to the SEC Championship game, but he has never been to a conference title game as a head coach.

Smart coached in five SEC Championship games as a defensive coordinator at Alabama under Nick Saban. The Crimson Tide won four of those conference title games.

However, while Smart does have experience coaching conference champion teams, this is the first time he will do it as the main man. It will be interesting to see what he does for a conference title game as a head coach rather than as a coordinator.
