Every SEC team wants a head coach like Nick Saban. Since he will most likely finish his coaching career with Alabama, his assistants are in high demand.

Ever since Nick Saban became the head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide in 2007, he has completely dominated the SEC. The Crimson Tide has won five SEC Championships, and they have played in six conference title games under Saban.

Before Saban came to Alabama, the Crimson Tide had never had a Heisman winner. Since 2009, Alabama has had two running backs win the Heisman Trophy.

The current head coach has also led Alabama to four national titles, and this season, the Crimson Tide will make their fourth straight appearance in a College Football Playoff semifinal game. Saban is generally considered to be the best college football coach of the modern era, and many argue that he could be the greatest coach of all time.

Naturally, everybody wants a coach like Saban. But with a salary of more than $11 million a year, he will most likely finish out his coaching career at Alabama. If a team wants a coach like Saban, they have to look at who has been a part of his dominating programs.

In recent seasons, Saban’s former assistants have been taking over the head coaching positions in the SEC. Since 2015, four SEC teams have hired head coaches who were former assistants of the Alabama head coach.
