SEC Football: Previewing the four SEC December bowl games

Missouri, Texas A&M, Kentucky and Mississippi State are the four SEC teams that will play in postseason bowl games in the month of December.

This year nine SEC teams will play in a postseason bowl game. Four of those teams will play in the month of December.

The SEC is tied with the Pac-12 for the second most teams playing in a bowl game from a Power Five conference. The ACC has the most with 10 teams playing in a postseason bowl. The Big 12 and Big Ten each have eight teams that will play in bowl games.
