Matt Corral was not the quarterback Mullen wanted. To win SEC football games, Mullen still must do what fired Florida head coaches Jim McElwain and Will Muschamp never did. He must find an effective quarterback to run the Florida offense.

It looks ugly for Florida’s early signing day

The Florida recruiting class is ranked number ten in the SEC and number 36 nationally. That’s not good enough to win in the SEC. The radically different offensive philosophy Mullen brings to Gainesville is creating instability and uncertainty. The Gators have recruiting work to do in 2018.
