Does strength of schedule inform

What about strength of schedule, does the schedule difficulty tell us anything about the teams in the College Football Playoff?

Magic 8 Ball says: concentrate and ask again.

Magic 8 Ball says: outlook good.

Every College Playoff Football team ranks in the top 10 in strength of schedule, with Oklahoma ranked number three, Clemson ranked number five, Georgia ranked number six and Alabama ranked number nine.

Auburn ranked number one in strength of schedule and Ohio State number two, so while it may help us understand the path to the Playoff, it’s not as important as playing defense, right, Magic 8 Ball?
