SEC Player and Freshman of the Week

The SEC basketball Player of the Week is Arkansas’ Daryl Macon. Macon averaged 24.5 points, 5.5 assists and three rebounds in wins over CSU Bakersfield and No. 19 Tennessee. He also led Arkansas over No. 19 Tennessee, scoring a career-high 33 points.

The SEC basketball Freshman of the Week is Alabama’s John Petty. Petty scored 18 points, and claimed four rebounds, with three assists and two blocks to lead the Crimson Tide over fifth-ranked Texas A&M.
