Smith has been tough all season. Named first-team All-American, Smith won the Butkus Award, and is the SEC defensive player of the year.

“He’s a great player,” said

Alabama junior running back Damien Harris, who leads the Tide in rushing with 983 yards and 11 touchdowns.  “He’s the guy we’re going to have to contain if we want to have success on offense.”
