SEC basketball flew into week nine. Conference teams then began shooting each other out of the sky.

SEC basketball is flying high in week nine.

Six SEC basketball teams rank in the top 30 in NCAA RPI, and nine teams have played top 50 ranked schedules. Three teams are ranked in the top 25 – Kentucky (21st), Auburn (22nd) and Tennessee (24th). Florida, Texas A&M, Georgia and Arkansas are all receiving votes.

SEC basketball now begins the process of blowing each other out of the sky.

What’ up A&M?

Florida began the festivities by stomping on already downtrodden, Texas A&M and round housing Missouri.

After claiming a home win against Vanderbilt, the Gators went into College Station and beat number eleven ranked Texas A&M.

The Gator’s then traveled to Columbia, Missouri where  Chris Chiozza stole a Jordan Geist pass, streaked to the other end and laid the ball in with .1 second on the clock to lift the Gators over Missouri.

Florida’s Egor Koulechov‘s streak of 32 consecutive free throws ended against Missouri. He ranks number three in the nation with 97.6 percent success from the stripe.

With the Gators winning two road games to stand at 3-0 in SEC play, everyone is now chasing Florida
