Anthony Schwartz – wide receivers

Second year receiver’s coach Kodi Burns lit it up on the recruiting trail this year as he napped four stellar receivers in this class.

He missed out on the state of Alabama’s top prospect in Justyn Ross, who opted to go to Clemson instead, but that shouldn’t take away from the major success he had.

What’s even better for Burns and Auburn is they don’t really need any of these new guys to have to come in and make a difference immediately as they return all their best receivers from last year. However, that doesn’t mean you won’t see any of the new guys make an impact.

Matthew Hill was the top rated receiver for Auburn and will be a definite playmaker for the Tigers in the future, but I think Anthony Schwartz will be the one to make the biggest impact fist.

Outside of Darius Slayton, Auburn didn’t really have a receiver that could consistently take the top off of defenses on deep balls last year.

Anthony Schwartz has been labeled as maybe the fastest player recruit in the country, thanks to his 4.34 40 yard dash time, and will certainly be able to take the top off some defenses in his Auburn career.
