The coaches did their part to break some news, each in their own way and appropriate for their school’s fan bases. Dan Mullen stepped up the “Dan Mullen shoe game”  revealing his new pair of NIKE Jumpmans, orange and blue of course, thrilling Gators fans by gagging the rest of the conference.

Secrets revealed at SEC Media Days

Kirby Smart revealed, under intense scrutiny from one reporter, that yes, Jacob Eason has indeed transferred from Georgia and will not compete for playing time as a Bulldog.

The hand-picked proven leaders of each team attended and answered the more poignant questions, such as which stadium has the worst locker rooms. Georgia’s J R Reed said it was Neyland Stadium in Knoxville.

Texas A&M running back Trayveon Williams gave the award to Mississippi. “I’d probably say Ole Miss. It was small, guys have to share lockers, it was kind of crazy.”
