Is the grass greener outside of Athens?

What did Haselwood see in Miami?

“I saw the offense A.J. Green played in,” he said. “The dorms aren’t that nice but they are building some. You can see that in action so I know they are not lying.”

While Haselwood said he saw nice things at Auburn and has visited The Plains quite a bit, Tiger fans should check their excitement. At the beginning of July, Haselwood said this about his Georgia commitment. “I’m solid, until further notice.”

Dawgnation’s Jeff Sentell pressed Haselwood further. “I don’t think anything has changed with me and Georgia.

That is, he’s posted no notices.

And what about the coaches trying to pry him away from Georgia. “I hate when my phone just be blowing up and everybody texts me,” Haselwood told Sentell. “I just see a lot of the same things over and over.”

Here’s more cold water for fans of Auburn and other schools hoping to lure Haselwood.

“Sometimes I feel like a lot of those messages are copied and pasted,” he said. “They send those things to everyone on their recruiting list instead of having a genuine conversation.”
