SEC football’s best player

Deebo Samuel is the best player in the SEC, and he plays for South Carolina. Samuel, injured early last season, appears three times on the preseason All-SEC list – as a wide receiver, return specialist, and all-purpose back. He’ll play a little quarterback for the Gamecocks, too.

Unfortunately for the Gamecocks he can only play one position at  a time. Samuel is still a dynamic game breaking player and gives South Carolina a huge advantage. On the other hand, the impact would also be tremendous should  Samuel be lost to an injury. If that injury, no matter how temporary, occurs at a key moment, it could be devastating to Offensive Coordination Bryan McLendon’s offense.

Even though South Carolina received no extra points for Samuel’s talent, keep an eye on him. He is the single player that can completely bust everyone’s SEC predictions.
