Be happy with the win, Georgia football fans

Despite mistakes, loss of poise, and sloppiness, the Georgia football team beat the Missouri football team pretty handily. In a week, it will be a win over a much improved Missouri team led by a truly great quarterback. In a month, it will be just another SEC win. By December, it will be a W. In a year, it will be a forgotten part of a splendid 11-1, 10-2, maybe even 12-0 regular season record.

Never know what you’re going to get

The other guy spends a whole year making plans to screw up your plans. Kids will be kids. The ball with the points on the ends is going to bounce every which-a-way. That’s college football – it’s like a box of chocolates.

What matters is winning, and Kirby Smart has that under control. So don’t sweat it, Georgia football fans. Momma told you there would be days like this, no matter who was coaching.
