Mississippi State: Must forget about last year

Last year in Starkville, MS, the LSU football team was beaten up and down the field to the tune of a 37-7 loss, their worst loss to Mississippi State ever.

Currently ranked top ten in defensive yards and points per game, this Bulldog team is not the team you want to catch after Georgia. Led by a great college quarterback in Nick Fitzgerald and a defense led by a menacing front seven, this Mississippi State football team is not to be overlooked.

After what should be a grueling football game against Georgia, LSU will have to quickly re-focus on Mississippi State. Having a bye week after this game should allow LSU to solely focus on this game before setting their sights on Alabama.

The saving grace for LSU is that this game is in Baton Rouge. Only Dak Prescott has been able to beat LSU in Baton Rouge since 1991.
