Five most memorable games in Ole Miss-LSU football history

On September 29, the fifth ranked LSU football team will face off with the Ole Miss Rebels for the 107th time in their historic rivalry. Today, we’re looking into the top five games in their storied history.

Whether both the Ole Miss and LSU football teams undefeated or winless, these two teams put on a show when they meet. The rivalry runs deep. For years, both sides have filled the stands with ill wishes toward the other team. According to ESPN staff writer Edward Aschoff, some Ole Miss faithful still chant “Go to Hell, LSU!” no matter the opponent.

No matter the players comprising the teams, these two fanbases absolutely despise each other. It helps that the actual football games never disappoint.

Many close games with added meaning behind them fill the storybooks. Here’s my list of the top five games in LSU-Ole Miss history. If there seems to be a little LSU bias to this list, you can’t blame me. It’s much better on this side.
