Can LSU muster more offense?

Orgeron was asked what he needs on offense to beat Ole Miss

“We need to be more explosive,” Orgeron said. “We’re going to need to score more points. We’re going to need to be more efficient. We’re going to need to throw the ball better. We need to throw the ball better on first down. We need to not get behind the chains.”

That’s three “mores” and two “betters.”

That’s a lot to put on LSU quarterback Joe Burrow. Burrow ranks number thirteen in the SEC and number 100 in the nation in efficiency at 116.3 on 52-of-106 passing (49 percent) for 731 yards and three touchdowns. T

The up side is Burrow has thrown no interceptions.

Back to the downside. Ole Miss’s opportunity. LSU is ranked number 11 in the SEC and number 66 in scoring nationally with 31 points a game.
