Finally a rivalry in October we can all look forward to which has both divisions at stake. Ed Orgeron brings his Bayou Bengals over to Gainesville to test out what Dan Mullen has truly built up since arriving at Gainesville.

The Tigers come off manhandling Ole Miss at home with the Gators beating Mississippi State defensively in Starkville without any offensive spark whatsoever. Whatever tensions were lingering last week are now behind them and can now focus on the task at hand.

Overall, LSU has won four of the last five meetings, including last season. Both LSU and Florida were in the running for Ohio State transfer Joe Burrow, and it was Orgeron who won the sweepstakes. We shall wait and see whether LSU will make Florida feel Burrow’s fury.

Feleipe Franks has yet to show any improvement under Dan Mullen as the next Dak Prescott, or perhaps no matter who is the head coach, Franks is most likely stubborn.
