The Iron Bowl is filled with the unexpected and irony. Here’s a look at five memorable Iron Bowls.

The rivalry. The Alabama Crimson Tide. The Auburn Tigers. The Iron Bowl.

Every year in the state of Alabama it comes down to this one game. Its friends versus friends and family against family this one day out of the year. Usually SEC West division, SEC championship, College Football Playoff, and National championship implications are on the line in the Iron Bowl. Sometimes revenge is also on the line.

Every year bragging rights are on the line to decide which program is the best in the state of Alabama. Winner gets 364 days out of the year to gloat. So if you’re in the state of Alabama, pick a side and stick to it. The 2018 version of this game should still be a good one even with Alabama heavily favored and Auburn under achieving this season.
