2014: Alabama vs Missouri

Alabama would be playing new blood to the SEC in this conference championship game. December 6th, 2014 Alabama football was back again in Atlanta, Georgia for another SEC championship game. The 2014 SEC title game was the first of three straight appearances. The Alabama Crimson Tide would battle the Missouri Tigers for the Tide’s 24th SEC championship.

Alabama built a 21-3 lead at half and let Missouri comeback in the third quarter 21-13. The Crimson Tide piled it on in the fourth quarter to win the SEC 42-13 over Missouri. It propelled Alabama into the first College Football Playoff as the #1 seed and a match up with number four Ohio State.
