2016: Alabama vs Florida

Different year same result for Alabama in the SEC title game. Kings of the SEC conference, Alabama football was in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta again for the SEC title. December 3rd, 2016 the Alabama Crimson Tide battled with the Florida Gators for the conference championship. Alabama football was favored by 24 points and the Crimson Tide demolished Florida 54-16, handing the Gators their fourth loss. This was the final SEC championship game in the Georgia Dome as it was replaced by Mercedes-Benz Stadium. This was also the last SEC championship Alabama has won because last season Georgia won the 2017 SEC title.
