Number one: 2017 Clemson 35 Alabama 31

This one was titled “The Rematch”. This game wasn’t just a rematch, it was an instant classic in Tampa Florida for the National championship. The Clemson Tigers drove down the field on this at the time undefeated number one ranked Alabama team and scored a touchdown pass with one second left in the game. Deshaun Watson’s touchdown pass to Hunter Renfrow to win Clemson the game 35-31 went down in Clemson history and National championship history.

This was the Tigers first title in thirty-five years, but most likely the greatest moment in Clemson football history. This game solidified Clemson as an elite program for the future. This game easily ranks as the number one game in Alabama Crimson Tide versus Clemson Tigers history overall. At least for now.

Another Instant Classic

Any way the game goes Monday night, it should be another instant classic battle between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Clemson Tigers. The Tide and the Tigers part four for the National Championship for the third time in four years.
