The NFL Playoffs have been loaded with SEC football talent, and these five players stood out during the conference championship round.

SEC football once again shows up in the professional ranks. During Sunday’s NFL conference championship games, the SEC had at least one player from each of the 14 schools listed on the teams’ rosters.  Georgia and Tennessee led the way with six players representing their schools.

The Bulldogs technically have seven, but Isaiah Wynn (Patriots) currently sits on the injured reserve list due to an Achilles injury.

Each NFL team had at least one Georgia and Tennessee player on their roster.

After that Alabama, Florida and LSU each have five players between the four teams. Auburn has four players listed, South Carolina and Arkansas have two, and the rest of the SEC has one player representing that school.

Of the four teams, Kansas City had the most SEC players on its roster with 14. New England had the second most with 12, followed by the Rams who have nine and lastly the Saints who have seven.

Out the four teams, there are 41 total SEC players. Not all the players could make the top-five so here are the conference championships honorable mentions.

Justin Houston from Georgia recorded two solo tackles. Another Bulldog, Todd Gurley had four carries for 10 yards and a touchdown.

The Saints running back duo, Alvin Kamara (Tennessee) and Mark Ingram (Alabama) rushed for only 15 and 31 yards.

Florida alumni Demarcus Robinson had a catch for 27 yards. Spencer Ware from LSU also had one grab for 21 yards.

Finally, the sixth man on the list is Trey Flowers from Arkansas. He recorded one sack, two solo tackles, one tackle for loss, and two quarterback hits.

Now, find out who the top five SEC performers were in the conference championship games.
