Sony Michel rushed 29 times for 113 yards and two scores during Sunday’s ballgame as he continues to dominate during the postseason. This game marked the second game in a row where he rushed for at least 100 yards and sixth 100-yard game of the season.

He scored the opening touchdown for the Patriots and the score that helped erase the Chiefs lead late in the fourth quarter.

His first score was a one-yard one to give New England a 7-0 lead. After he scored, the first person to congratulate him was another Georgia alumni, David Andrews.

Michel’s final score was an impressive 10-yard run that he made look easy. When he ran it into the end zone, he seemed to go untouched. However, some of the credit for both of his scores should go to New England’s offensive line.

The line gave him massive holes to run through for both scores, making them look easy. Without an offensive line as good as the Patriots have, Michel probably wouldn’t have as many yards as he does.

According to a tweet from ESPN Stats & Info, Michel’s five touchdowns this postseason are the most scored by any rookie in NFL history. The tweet continued to say the last running back to have five rushing touchdowns in the postseason was fellow Bulldog alumni, Terrell Davis in 1997.

This season, Michel has 238 carries for 1,173 yards and eight scores and will play for his first Super Bowl ring in Atlanta.
