Georgia Football has six players representing the university in Super Bowl 53. However, the two prominent guys will be Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley and New England back Sony Michel. Who comes out on top and gets their first ring?

Todd Gurley vs. Sony Michel on the biggest stage in football. Two of Georgia’s greatest running backs go head-to-head, there isn’t much more Georgia fans want than to see the Falcons there.

In the last eight or so years, these are two of the running backs that help Georgia resurface as ‘RBU.’ Gurley made sure to let the media know that during one of the interviews this week.

These are Georgia’s No. 3 and No. 4 all-time leading running backs. The only two in front of them are Nick Chubb and Herschel Walker. Michel is No. 3 on the list and rushed for 3,613 yards while Gurley is No. 4 with 3,285 yards.

Gurley essentially was Michel and Chubb’s mentor when they first got to Athens.

In a recent interview, Gurley talked about the rookie and how he taught him a lot at Georgia. Now it is hard to believe that he taught the rookie running back everything he knows when Georgia is notorious for grabbing top-rated running backs.

Regardless of what Gurley claims to have taught Michel, the two are known for being good friends, and I’m sure he influenced Michel in a few ways. He seems to be like a big brother for Michel. So it was funny to see Gurley take a dig at Michel during interviews.

If that interview did anything, it likely fired up Michel to play even harder on Sunday.

However, despite both of them being tight-knit and being from the same school, one of them has to win on Sunday. Will it be Michel or will it be Gurley?
