Alabama steals the show yet again. After losing its crown last recruiting cycle, the Tide seizes back the title.

According to 247Sports, Alabama has the No. 1 overall and the No. 1 SEC recruiting class.

The class as a whole includes three 5-stars, 23 4-stars, and one 3-star.

Alabama almost signed a complete class with just four-star prospects.

However, the Tide gets the crown because of the defensive line class they signed. Alabama signed eight linemen.

Of those eight linemen include No.1 strong defensive end Antonio Alfano, No. 5 strong defensive end Justin Eboigbe, No. 5 DT Ishmael Sopsher, No. 8 DT Byron Young, and the No. 5 weakside defensive end Kevin Harris.

That is only five of the eight. The rest of the prospects are just as impressive.

Alabama doesn’t have to sell the program because it sells itself. This class has a little of everything for the Tide.

2019 added some depth at quarterback with the addition of Taulia Tagovailoa, the little brother of Tua Tagovailoa. The Tide added another five-star running back to the stable with Trey Sanders.

I can’t forget about the secondary either. The Tide scored Jordan Battle, the No. 2 safety in the country and Marcus Banks from Texas.

Alabama added depth at every single position, which is entirely the point of recruiting, but they do it at a level like no other. The only school close to them is Georgia, and the Bulldogs didn’t manage to sign a defensive linemen class like this one.

Once again, Alabama does it again, but it has Georgia hot on its tail. The SEC proved yet again why it is the best league in the country as it continues to recruit at a high level.
