WHEN: FEB. 27 @ 7p.m. ET

TV: SEC Network

WHERE: The Pavilion at Ole Miss, Oxford, MS

Ole Miss is quietly making a name for themselves this season. The Rebels are currently 8-5 in league play and sit fifth in the rankings. However, with the shooters they have, they could be the SEC sleeper of 2019.

Head coach Kermit Davis has done so much for this team in his first year and helped develop this team into a dominant force.

However, with five games left before the SEC tournament, the Rebels toughest task will be the Tennessee Volunteers.

Tennessee is one of the most complete teams and after the Vols fell to Kentucky, they have been on a mission. That being said, so is Ole Miss. The Rebels lost a tough one to South Carolina which snapped a four-game winning streak.

Ole Miss has Georgia next and the Rebels shooters shouldn’t have many problems with the Bulldogs. The Rebels shouldn’t look ahead though. One game at a time should be coach Davis and his team’s motto.

This game makes the list because Ole Miss could slip up and beat the Volunteers. If the Rebels watch the Kentucky game they could figure out how to beat them. Especially if Breein Tyree stays as hot as he is right now.

Prediction

Tennessee should win this game with ease, but I’m feeling quite rebellious right now. Ole Miss shocks the world and defeats Tennessee at home.

Kentucky exposed a lot of the Volunteers weaknesses and with Tyree leading the way. He has another 20-point game and helps give the Rebels grab another conference victory and win 76-72.
