A Quick Look at the 2019 Tigers Schedule

Georgia Southern’s triple-option attack coming into Baton Rouge on opening day is more than enough to keep the Tigers from looking ahead to their Week 2 trip to Austin.

If LSU can knock off the Horns, they should be 5-0 before a grueling four-game stretch: vs. Florida, at Mississippi State, vs. Auburn, and at Alabama.

2019 sets up as a favorable slate despite a wealth of quality opponents and two brutal road games against Texas and Alabama.

Florida, Auburn, and Texas A&M all travel to Death Valley, LSU picks up two well-spaced bye weeks during Week 5 and Week 10 of the season, and the Tigers get to swap out Georiga for Vanderbilt as their second SEC East opponent.

The schedule is one that can easily get the Tigers to another ten win season and New Year’s Day Six victory. 10 win seasons are nice, and Coach O may have quieted some doubters in 2018, but the LSU fanbase will not be fully satisfied until the Tigers take down Saban and Alabama.

November 9 in Tuscaloosa will tell us everything we need to know about the 2019 LSU football season.
