Kirby Smart has certainly built Georgia football from the ground up. He’s reached three straight SEC Championship games and it doesn’t seem like there will be too many drop offs heading into 2020.

It’s likely that the grad transfer Jamie Newman will take over quarterback duties after Jake Fromm made the decision to head to the league. Newman threw for 2,868 yards during his last season at Wake Forest in 2019.

Newman also added just under 600 yards on the ground for the Demon Deacons and looks to bring his dual threat ability to the SEC.

The loss of D’Andre Swift definitely hurts, but Smart will reload the running back position with Zamir White, James Cook, Kenny McIntosh, and Kendall Milton.

We can expect the Georgia Bulldogs to continue their dominance in the East and once again reach the SEC Championship game.

Projection: 11-1, (7-1 SEC)
