Taulia’s brother Tua Tagovailoa decided to pass up his remaining eligibility at Alabama and head to the NFL.

After being drafted, Tua was asked whether or not his parents would be joining him at his new home in Miami. It’s understandably tough to be the leading man of an NFL franchise, but it makes it much more difficult without having your parents by your side.

Tua told Travis Wingfield of Dolphins.com..

"“… sadly, I’ll be the only one coming out there to Miami… My parents are staying out here and focusing on my brother..”"

It seems that Tua would like for his parents to join him at his new destination, but his younger brother’s collegiate career was enough to keep them in Alabama.

Now that Taulia plans to realign his allegiance elsewhere, the opportunity to move closer to big brother has become available.

The obvious landing place is at the University of Miami, which is only a thirty minute drive from the Dolphin’s Hard Rock Stadium.

It seems that his parents want to move closer, and if Taulia transfers to the Hurricanes, they will be able to do just that.

The Hurricane’s currently bolster a loaded depth chart full of quarterbacks, but the former Alabama quarterback is only a sophomore and will have plenty of time to grow and surpass competition.

The University of Miami certainly makes the most sense when looking at Taulia’s next journey.
